Family First Parenting Class

Inside Correctional Facilities

Resilience Project’s Family First / Parenting Class equips incarcerated parents with skills, strategies, and an understanding of how to navigate child welfare and school systems from prison to improve and stabilize families. The parenting class also promotes healthy communication and relationships between incarcerated parents and their children, creating or maintaining that important bond.

Professional Development

The Resilience Project offers in-service or pre-service professional development for educators and school counselors about working with youth impacted by parental or family incarceration.
