Kyle Black

CREW Client Services Specialist

Kyle Colleen Black has spent over twenty years dedicated to supporting people’s wellbeing and transitions. She holds several Traditional Healthcare Worker licenses and continues to pursue education to support her community.

Experience in the carceral system resulted in a passion for raising awareness of the need for justice reform. She advocates for improving the carceral system and its impacts on individuals and their families. She engages in conversations with community leaders about the devastating effects of mass incarceration and the need for transparency, restoration, and healing in the legal process.

She believes that a successful transition back into society requires willingness from both the community and those being released. There are challenges surrounding re-entry, and she aims to empower individuals and promote positive change in the system.

As a collector of quotes and experiences, Kyle views life as an adventure to be enjoyed. She remains committed to her mission of advocating for those affected by the carceral system, ensuring that everyone has access to the support and resources necessary for a hopeful future.
