Cameron Hayes

ReGroup Director

Cameron Hayes is a community leader, educator, and systems-builder dedicated to transforming justice through credible-messenger leadership. As Director of ReGroup, a reentry network of peers grounded in restorative and transformative justice. Cameron develops statewide leadership training models that connect lived experience with policy innovation.


Cameron’s work bridges practice and policy. He has managed multiple DOJ- and CJC-funded initiatives focused on community violence intervention, restorative justice capacity-building, and peer leadership development across Oregon. His projects integrate research, narrative, and administrative strategy to strengthen collaboration between community organizations and state agencies.
